WOMENS WOROUT GUIDE TEAM

My name is Sara Wilcox, I am the girlfriend of Arnel Ricafranca who is a fitness expert and owner of many successful websites such as iwantsixpackabs.com
beyondsixpackabs.com and mensworkoutguide.com.  I have been his assistant for the past year.  I film his workout videos, and edit all of his content.  He has millions of followers, all who have gotten fast amazing results from his online workout programs.  But, enough about him, now it’s time to turn it around.  This time, it’s about me!

About Me

I am a regular girl.  My interests include, drawing, cooking, decorating, watching movies, and playing with our newly adopted cat, Roxy.

I just turned 26 years old.  Like many of you, I am not completely happy with my body.  For as many years as I can remember, I have done nothing to change my appearance.  I just figured that this is the way I am supposed to look forever.  However, thanks to Arnel, who motivated me to make a change so I can be happy about my body, I am now going to make personal goals for myself. I am on a mission to transform my skinny childish looks into a body that is fit, toned and healthy so I can be happy and confident about myself.

What I Would Like to Change-

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been considered underweight.  To some of you reading this, you probably think there is no problem with that.  It is not healthy to be underweight.  Nor does it look good.  Believe it or not, it is difficult to find clothing that fits me properly and I throughout high school, I have been asked several times if I was anorexic.  I have never had an eating disorder of any kind and those harsh comments hurt.  People also always just assume that I am a teenager because of my narrow hips, small skinny shoulders, skinny legs, and twig-like arms.

I wouldn’t say that I eat a ton of food every day, but I def get enough in my system each day.  I believe that being too skinny is just my body type.  So, I hope that by doing this journey to get fit, I can gain some self confidence and feel good about my body.  I want to be happy when I see myself in the mirror and hopefully even feel good in a bathing suit.

About the Journey-

I mentioned above that I hope to have more self confidence by the end of my journey to get fit.  Now I would like to explain what I mean when I say “journey”.

I am giving myself a total of 18 weeks to reach my fitness goals.  Arnel will be guiding me as he tells me which exercises I should perform.  My workouts will be filmed and put on the website so everyone can see exactly what I do while they watch my progress and maybe even follow along with me.

My Current Fitness Level-

Right now, as of May 8th 2008, I am 90 pounds and 5’2” tall.  I wouldn’t say that I am the weakest person in the world but I am definitely not strong in any way shape or form.  Lifting two 10 pound weights is a big struggle for me.  I can only do about 5 knee pushups at a time.  I can’t do a single pull up.  I can’t bench-press a bare barbell bar off the supports.  I can do squats but only by using my own bodyweight.

My Fitness Goals-

Before I explain my goals and what I hope to accomplish during my 18 weeks, I would first like to let everyone know that I DO NOT work out.  Nor do, I sit on my butt all day and indulge in chips and ice cream.  I get exercise, just a minimal amount.  For me, the closest thing to working out is when I vacuum, scrub the floor, or go and down our two flights of stairs in our townhouse several times on laundry days.  So, when I do start actually working out, I don’t expect it to be easy.  It will be hard, and it will be a constant struggle that will only get easier as I get stronger.

My goals are to gain muscle tone to my weak boney frame.  I would like to get a lot stronger, and gain some weight to get to up a healthy amount.  I want to add some shape and definition to my legs.  I also hope to add some volume to my childlike shoulders.

Here is what I would like to accomplish:

-         Gain 10lbs of muscle in 18 weeks.

-         Weigh over 100lbs (starting weight:  90lbs)

-         30 standard pushups (NOT knee pushups)

-         5 Pull ups

-         Bench press a bare bar (45 lbs)

-         Squat with a bare bar (45 lbs)

-         Deadlift with a bare bar (45 lbs)

In Conclusion-

That’s all for now, I hope that you will watch my full 18 week transformation.  I also hope that my results will inspire you to make a change and do a transformation of your own because NO ONE should be unhappy about their appearance.
